Residents of St. Petersburg will see 16 documentaries at the RT.Doc festival

S. PETERSBURG, 4 Aug. Sixteen documentaries will be shown to residents of St. Petersburg at the international festival RT.Doc: Time of Heroes, said Ekaterina Yakovleva, head of documentary broadcasting at RT and general producer of the festival.
The program is designed specifically for St. Petersburg, the audience will see three premiere films that have not been shown anywhere before, in total 16 films will be presented.

Documentary film festivals «RT.Doc: Time of Heroes» have already been held in Moscow, Kazan and Krasnodar.

«We come to every city with premieres, this is our obligatory condition, because we want not just to carry a tracing paper from the Moscow festival, but so that people have something new … Secondly, we will definitely take one of the local documentary filmmakers, journalists,» Yakovleva said.
Three films will premiere at the festival in St. Petersburg: «The Bassotti Gang. The Color is Red», «The Treble Clef», «Own».
In addition to films by Russian directors, the festival will show the work of Anne-Laure Bonnel. «Donbass 2022».
All films of the festival can be watched for free on the streaming platform artel.doc.

«Since we were closed on many platforms, we created our own answer to Netflix. All films, except for premieres, are available for free. There are collected unique films that our directorate has created throughout its existence,» — commented Yakovleva.
The International Documentary Film Festival «RT. Doc: Time of Heroes» will be held in St. Petersburg from August 18 to 20 at the Avrora cinema (60 Nevsky Prospekt, lit. I).
