TYUMEN, Aug 8An employee of a chain of stores in Tyumen is suspected of imitation of a robbery, which she organized to hide the theft of 3 million rubles, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Tyumen region reports.
In September 2022, two unknown persons on Gazovikov Street in the city of Tyumen attacked an employee of a chain of stores and stole 3 million rubles. At the end of July of this year, the operatives tracked down the attackers; they confessed to the suspect at the police department.
“A woman born in 1994, being a financially responsible person, had access to the company’s funds and transported cash from one store to another. Having the intent to steal the funds entrusted to her in the amount of 3 million rubles, she developed a criminal plan to imitation of an attack. To implement her plans, she hired two of her friends and paid each of them 50,000 rubles, «the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
It is noted that the men had previously been convicted, a case of robbery was initiated against them (part 2 of article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), the court chose them a coercive measure in the form of an obligation to appear. The woman became a defendant in a criminal case on misappropriation of someone else's property (part 4 of article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), by a court decision she is limited in certain actions. The investigation is ongoing.
