In the summer transfer window, Spartak signed contracts with Theo Bongonda, Jesus Medina and Oleg Ryabchuk.
«»I think the transfers are good. Abascal said back in October last year that he needs a winger with a left foot. Bongonda is a quality player, I think he adapts quickly. He is already useful. Medina is also quite experienced. Still adapting, but he has already scored one goal — in a position convenient for him, he can be useful,» Melezhikov told reporters.
«Ryabchuk didn't ruin the picture today, but it's too early to evaluate him. He's fast enough, tenacious. Let's see in the long run. So far, the transfer campaign, it seems to me, is quite positive,» the ex-general director added.
