MOSCOW, Aug 8 Vice Speaker of the State Duma On behalf of the New People, Vladislav Davankov turned to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova with a request to give recommendations on the abolition of coronavirus restrictions on holding rallies and processions in the regions of Russia, a copy of the appeal is available.
«I ask you to recommend to the highest officials of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and departments of Rospotrebnadzor in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation to cancel coronavirus restrictions on holding rallies, processions, pickets,» the document says.
As Davankov noted, in many regions there is a «high alert regime», because of which local administrations prohibit rallies, processions, pickets, although festive concerts are held.
He is a candidate in the election of the mayor of Moscow, which, like local elections in many subjects of the Russian Federation, will be held in September this year.
