MOSCOW, August 9, Sergey Fuks. Italian «Torino» has no plans to transfer Russian football player Alexei Miranchuk, said agent Tonci Martic, who represents the interests of Croatian midfielder Nikola Vlašić.
On Tuesday, Torino bought Vlašić's transfer from English West Ham. The agreement with the 25-year-old player runs until the end of June 2027 and includes the option to extend for another season. Earlier, Vlasic, like 27-year-old Miranchuk, spent the season at Torino on loan. As part of the Italian team, the Croatian midfielder scored five goals and gave eight assists in 37 meetings, Miranchuk scored four goals and six assists in 31 matches.
“Nikola would like to continue to play with Miranchuk, but now this is not in the plans of Torino,” Martic said.
The rights to Miranchuk belong to the Italian Atalanta, to which the Russian moved in September 2020 from the Moscow Lokomotiv.
