Russia to partially suspend tax treaties with unfriendly countries

Treaty rules relating to the elimination of double taxation remain in force. Thus, taxpayers registered in countries participating in the agreements will be able to set off in Russia the amounts paid abroad.

The document suspends the main points of tax agreements with 38 countries: USA, Poland, South Korea, Bulgaria, Sweden, Luxembourg, Romania, Great Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Slovakia, Albania, Belgium, Slovenia, Croatia, Canada, Montenegro, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Finland, Germany, France, Macedonia, Cyprus, Spain, Lithuania, Iceland, Austria, Portugal, Greece, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Malta and Japan.

< br>The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to send appropriate notifications to these countries, and the government must submit to the Duma a bill on the suspension of agreements.
