«NAPC has included the Bermudian company Bacardi Limited in the list of international sponsors of the war. The company continues to do business in Russia and is actively looking for new employees there,» the agency said.
It follows from the message that earlier Bacardi, whose products are presented in more than 170 countries, announced a halt in exports to Russia and the termination of investments in advertising promotion. However, later, according to NAPC, the company allegedly resumed the search for new employees in the Russian Federation and began to publish vacancy announcements. It is noted that according to data on the website of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, the revenue of the Russian division of the company Bacardi Rus (Bakardi Rus) last year increased by 8.5%, to 32.6 billion rubles, and net profit — up to 4.7 billion , which is 206.5% more than in 2021 (1.5 billion rubles), income tax to the budget of the Russian Federation was paid in the amount of more than 12 million dollars.
