St. PETERSBURG, August 11 A resident of Pskov, by court order, will pay a fine of 160,000 rubles for inciting extremist activities, the press service of the Federal Security Service of Russia reported in the Pskov region.
«The Second Western District Military Court sentenced a Pskovian for distributing extremist materials. He was sentenced to a fine of 160,000 rubles. Pskovych fully admitted his guilt in committing illegal actions,» the press service said.
As the investigation proved, Pskov was following the instructions of a person who permanently resides in Estonia and is on the interstate wanted list. In a specially rented garage, the man produced leaflets with calls to commit violent acts against the authorities and links to the telegram channel of an organization banned in Russia. Pskov received remuneration for his activities.
A man posted ready-made leaflets at the transport infrastructure and public utilities facilities of Pskov. Then they were photographed and sent a report to the customer.
The sentence has entered into force.
