In Lyubertsy, another 15 days of arrest was appointed for the artist Philippenzo, who was detained at the airport, who painted protest graffiti

The Lyubertsy City Court of the Moscow Region appointed the second consecutive 15 days of administrative arrest to street artist Philip Kozlov, known under the pseudonym Philippenzo. His acquaintances told SotaVision about this.

Kozlov, the author of the protest graffiti, drew the inscription “Rubbing” under the bridge in Moscow on the Day of Russia in June. After that, the police came to the artist's house, as a result, he decided to temporarily leave the country. At the end of July, he was detained at the Domodedovo airport at passport control after returning from Georgia.

Under the article on disobedience to the security forces, he was then arrested for 15 days (part 1 of article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The policemen stated in the report that the artist refused to hand over his passport to them after the FSB interrogated him.

According to the interlocutors of SotaVision, when they arrived at the special detention center to Kozlov, he said that yesterday, August 10, he was taken to court without a lawyer. There he was re-arrested under the same article of disobedience to the police. At the same time, the court file says that the hearing was on the afternoon of August 11.

In the spring of 2022, the artist was already persecuted because of the street work “Our Zinc” with the image of coffins, which he timed to coincide with Victory Day. As a result, he was fined three times under the article on “discrediting” the army (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) — twice for 40 thousand rubles and again for 45 thousand.
