YEREVAN, Aug 11 At a meeting on Friday, the Armenian government decided to allocate over six million dollars to organize a concert by American rapper Snoop Dogg in Yerevan , reports the correspondent.

"To implement the project, the government of the Republic of Armenia will allocate 2.318 billion drams (more than six million dollars) to the organizer. The concert with the participation of Snoop Dogg will take place on September 23 at the (Erevan — ed.) stadium "Hrazdan", – the resolution says.
It is noted that the performance of the musician in the republic will become part of project «Armenian tour of the world star», which is implemented by the company «Doping Space».
The document states that the choice of an artist is determined not only by his popularity, but also by the unique program prepared by the rapper.
The government expects that the concert will be attended by 20,000 to 25,000 spectators, both residents of Armenia and tourists.
