The regional Ministry of Transport and Roads told Vostok Media that by the morning of August 12 due to washed out roads, 27 settlements remained completely cut off.
The department called the situation in the Border, Oktyabrsky, Chernigov, Mikhailovsky, Khasansky and Nadezhdinsky districts especially difficult. People who have highly passable equipment and boats were asked to help with the evacuation of local residents.
