Pskovych was fined in a criminal case on incitement to extremism; The FSB claims that he glued leaflets on the money of an Estonian resident

The 2nd Western District Military Court imposed a fine of 160,000 rubles on a resident of Pskov in a criminal case for posting leaflets, RIA Novosti was told in the press service of the FSB department for the Pskov region.

As Pskovskaya clarifies province”, Pskov’s name is Alexander Yezhov. According to the FSB, he was found guilty under the article on public incitement to extremism (Part 1 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code).

Judging by the case file, the young man was also charged with justifying terrorism (Part 1 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code), but this episode is not mentioned in the FSB press release about the verdict.

According to the agency, Yezhov rented a garage in which he “produced leaflets with calls to commit violent acts against the authorities and links to the telegram channel of an organization banned in Russia” (which one is not specified).

The secret service claims that Pskov posted leaflets «on the objects of transport infrastructure and public utilities of Pskov», photographed them and «sent them to the customer», who paid him a fee. The FSB writes that the money was sent to Yezhov by «a person who permanently lives in Estonia and is on the interstate wanted list.»

The Pskovian was sentenced on July 5, but the FSB only told about it on August 11. The text of the decision has not been published on the website of the court, it is known that it has entered into force.

In February 2023, a 20-year-old resident of Pskov named Alexander Yezhov was included in list of extremists and terrorists of Rosfinmonitoring.
