The main event of the week is, of course, the launch of Luna-25. Because these are not words, not promises — this is action, reality. This is an undefeated country that is returning.
Thirty years ago, we were forced to «change space for plywood stools.» For thirty years we have been taught to look only at our plate and make sure that it is to the brim. The only animal that cannot raise its head to look at the sky is the pig. For thirty years a special operation was conducted against us. A dozen more years of upbringing (and, in fact, stupidity) by bloggers and liberals who crawled through everywhere you can crawl, and we would have fallen down ourselves. But the «endless twenty-fourth» has come. The accusation stopped and rolled, gaining momentum, back.
The process cannot be stopped. But pits and potholes at every turn. How much they said — we need our own aviation industry. And even from the high stands they repeated slogans. And they still bought Boeings and Airbuses, driving their design schools, aircraft factories somewhere under the plinth. Sanctions came, and it became obvious: they really need their own planes. And all the officials as one began to report: we’ll launch it, we’ll revive it, we’ll fly here … But at the beginning of the week, at a meeting on the development of the aviation industry, Putin said: our aircraft manufacturers have a real chance to fill the vacant niches, but this must be done before foreign companies will decide to return to Russia. That is, he does not believe the promises to revive the aviation industry, in spite of everything, he understands very well: our elite will not do the best — they will do the simpler, and therefore more profitable. As soon as there is a chance, it will immediately begin to roll everything back.
And this disbelief in words is already, albeit an intermediate, but a good result of CBO. Overnight this elite — officials and managers, no matter how much one wants, alas, cannot be changed. The resistance is furious.
That is why it is necessary to lay the foundation for the future. Here, by the way, steps are also being taken. Correct. This is best proved by the howl in the domestic liberal swamps and in the Western media about the new school history textbook, the definition of empire in it, about the ongoing dismissals of pro-Western teachers from our universities, in fact, agents of influence.
The launch of Luna-25 is also the foundation for the future. The country, imposed by sanctions, like no other country in the world, leading a heavy military operation, launches its station to the moon. Note that the index «25» is taken for a reason. This is a sign of the continuity of the Soviet space program. This launch — instead of a thousand words — speaks of power: yes, we are an empire.
Explaining something to those who say that you first need to build warm toilets everywhere, and then fly into space — does not no point. This will be the throwing of beads. They cannot look to the sky. And the Russians, unbending their necks with a crunch, again, like those giants on whose shoulders we stand, look at the stars.
More on the difference between words and deeds. Remember this «grain deal»? We verbally stopped it, stopped it, threatened it, threatened it — all to no avail. Until they really started hitting Ukrainian ports. And not only sea. It came to the «partners» that Russia seriously withdrew from the deal, only after that.
On Sunday there was another small-looking «marine accident». In the southwestern part of the Black Sea, the patrol ship of the Black Sea Fleet «Vasily Bykov», which controlled shipping, discovered the dry cargo ship «Sukra Okan» under the flag of Palau, en route to the Ukrainian port of Izmail. He did not respond to the request to stop for inspection. But after the warning shots, I immediately stopped the move and received the inspection team that landed from our deck helicopter. After the completion of the inspection team, I went on. You can talk as much as you like about the seriousness of intentions, but you can demonstrate. Russia is finally starting to show off.
Of course, a stupid thought may creep in: why is such a powerful empire still unable to defeat Ukraine? Silly thought. NVO has long been not against Ukraine. Shoigu announced a figure last week (actually, not a secret one, which was also heard in the Western media) — military assistance to the Kyiv regime amounted to $ 160 billion over a year and a half. Deputy Kartapolov previously announced the figures of our military budget in the State Duma. So, they (in total for 2022 and 2023) are much less than Western aid to Ukraine (the military budget of Ukraine itself in 2021 was, by the way, only $6 billion). And further. Shoigu said that about 360 thousand NATO troops are now concentrated on the borders of the Union State, mainly in Poland, Lithuania and Latvia. This is twice as much as the group with which Russia initially entered Ukraine.
So we did not have a snack with Ukraine. And with the collective West. It's all hard and long. But we still launch a station to the moon. As in Letov's song: «An undefeated country soars into the sky outside my window.»
