MOSCOW, August 12 Roskomnadzor does not restrict the work of foreign search services, the regulator's press service reported.
Earlier on Saturday, Russian users reported a failure in the Google search engine, according to Downradar data, where they left more than 1.2 thousand complaints (as of 18.45). Most complaints come from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan. The peak of reports of problems occurred at 18:00 Moscow time. After 19:00, access to the service was restored.
«The work of foreign search services is not limited. For questions about the availability of Google's services, please contact Google,» the message says.
Roskomnadzor recommended that Russians «always use domestic services.»
