A warehouse with an area of 1,800 square meters is on fire in Ramenskoye near Moscow. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Moscow region.
According to SHOT, fertilizers are stored in a burning warehouse. There is no information about the victims.
According to the prosecutor's office of the Moscow region, the cause of the fire was a violation of fire safety requirements during welding. According to the department, plastic pallets were the first to catch fire in the warehouse.
Since the beginning of August, two major fires have occurred in the Moscow region — in Voskresensk and Domodedovo. On August 9, a warehouse with pyrotechnics exploded in Sergiev Posad.
