According to preliminary data, the drone attack became the cause of the incident. According to the governor, no one was injured in the explosion. However, some apartments had broken windows and damaged air conditioners. In addition, because of the explosion, the facade of the building was cut. About 15 vehicles were also damaged.
Gladkov promised to help with the restoration of property. According to him, door-to-door tours continue, operational and emergency services are working on site.
In turn, Belgorod Mayor Valentin Demidov said that restoration work would begin on Monday. If necessary, the residents of the house will be temporarily accommodated in a hotel, he noted.
Earlier today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried three times to attack the Belgorod region using drones. The incidents occurred at 4:00, 11:00 and 13:30 Moscow time. All three drones were shot down.
