YEREVAN, Aug 14 A Ukrainian diplomat drowned in Lake Sevan in Armenia, according to the Armenian online resource shamshyan.com, which specializes in criminal chronicles.
«According to shamshyan.com, the drowned person is an adviser to the Ambassador of Ukraine to Armenia S.O.,» the publication on the website says.
The Armenian police reported the incident on August 13, without specifying the name and citizenship of the drowned man.
Sputnik Armenia, citing its sources, reports that the case in point is Alexander Senchenko, Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in Armenia.
The Ukrainian embassy has not yet provided any information about the incident. The Ministry of Internal Affairs also does not publish the data of the deceased.
