Okroshka on kefir has doubled in price in ten years

MOSCOW, Aug 14 The cost of ingredients for okroshka on kefir in Russia has grown 2.15 times in ten years — up to 220.42 rubles in July, follows from calculations based on Rosstat data.
To prepare about four servings of okroshka, you will need 800 grams of kefir, two potatoes, 200 grams of boiled sausage, two chicken eggs, 200 grams of fresh cucumbers and 25 grams of salt.

If in July 2013 these products would cost a Russian 102.66 rubles, then in July of this year their cost rose to 220.42 rubles.

The most expensive ingredient for okroshka in 10 years was sausage — prices increased 2.28 times. Kefir (or fermented milk products) has risen in price by 2.2 times, and chicken eggs — by 2.1 times. They are followed by cucumbers (by 1.91 times), salt (by 1.64 times) and potatoes (by 1.4 times).
According to Rosstat, in July 2023, a kilogram of fermented milk products cost 99.56 rubles, potatoes — 46.32 rubles, boiled sausage — 484.11 rubles, cucumbers — 94.73 rubles, table salt — 18.12 rubles , and a dozen eggs — 78.49 rubles.
