«The Tu-134 aircraft of the State Aviation Corporation Roscosmos landed at the Vostochny Cosmodrome Airport during a test flight to check the technical readiness of its runway. This was the first landing of the aircraft at the Vostochny Airport,» the report says.
It is noted that the aircraft was piloted by an experienced crew of the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center (TsPK, part of Roskosmos), headed by the commander of the joint aviation detachment Vadim Yunders. The crew also worked out one of the exercises to prepare for approach and landing at the airfield with limited use of radio equipment.
At the airport, the plane was prepared for a re-flight, and after a short stop it went to Blagoveshchensk (Amur Region).
