Armed Ukrainian forces (AFU) began to retreat in the Kharkiv region due to the advance of Russian troops. This statement was made by former CIA agent Larry Johnson in an interview with journalist Stephen Gardner.
«Now Russia has launched an offensive near Kharkov and is exerting serious pressure on a wide front. Ukraine is evacuating the population, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are retreating,» said the former intelligence officer .
The expert also believes that the Ukrainian army does not have enough weapons and ammunition in order to try to contain the advance of Russian troops. In addition, Johnson added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have the necessary number of counter-battery systems and missile defense systems to continue active hostilities.
