NALCHIK, Aug 14 One of the tourists injured in a rockfall in the Chereksky district of Kabardino-Balkaria remains in intensive care, two more are on the mend, the press service said regional ministry of health.
«Currently, four victims are in the Republican Clinical Hospital of Nalchik. The condition of one is assessed as stably grave, he is in intensive care,» the report says.
It is noted that one patient is stable: in a state of moderate severity, he is being treated in the department of combined trauma.
«Two of the victims are seeing positive dynamics, their condition is relatively satisfactory, they are in the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics,» the press service of the regional Ministry of Health clarifies.
On Saturday in Chereksky near the Bezengi alpine camp at an altitude of 3.5 thousand meters, a group of tourists fell under a rockfall. It was reported that as a result, one person — a resident of St. Petersburg born in 1989 — died, six more were injured. Four tourists were hospitalized, one of them was in serious condition.
