MOSCOW, 14 Aug. Employees of the «Russian Media Group» invited children from the Donetsk People's Republic, who live on the line of contact, to Moscow, where they arranged excursions for them to the on-air studios of the famous radio station and TV channel RU.TV, the press service of the holding reports.
The events became part of the Donetsk Smena summer holiday program, the release says. During the tours, radio hosts and editors told the children how radio and television work, and also introduced them to the basics of journalism.
“We were very happy to host the guys from Donetsk,” says Russian Radio program director Vladimir Borisov.
Young guests also took pictures with the stars of the air, sat at the legendary microphones and received pleasant surprises from the holding.
“It was gratifying to see how their eyes light up, how they liked what they saw and how, together with us, they believe that everything will definitely be fine. They are very bright and talented guys. I hope we were able to inspire some of them in the future, also devote his life to radio or television,» Vladimir Borisov added.
As part of the Donetsk Smena program for children from the DPR, educational and recreational activities were also organized: chess games, art therapy, sports activities.
