
MOSCOW, August 20 A Ukrainian drone attack damaged the roof, facade and platform of the Kursk railway station. Governor Roman Starovoit announced this on his Telegram channel.

«The roof, facade, and first platform were damaged. Also, as a result of the blast, there is damage in the waiting room and the pedestrian tunnel,” he wrote.
According to the governor, specialists will begin repair work in the near future. Boarding trains is now carried out through the north and south sides without entering the station.
Starovoit also said that at the time of the explosion there were 50 passengers in the building. They were promptly evacuated.
Last night, a Ukrainian drone attacked the building of the railway station in Kursk. A fire started there, but it was soon extinguished. Five people received minor injuries. According to the governor, two of them refused medical assistance, three were sent to the regional hospital, but after an examination they were allowed to go home.
The Kursk region is constantly under shelling from Ukraine, as well as drone attacks. On August 13 alone, in the Sudzhan and Rylsk regions, air defense forces shot down six attack drones. And on August 18, in the Rylsky district, another device was planted by means of electronic warfare.
