MOSCOW, Aug 18 The West sets an example for other countries — to be a vassal and crawl «half-bent» or to defend their sovereignty and their understanding of life, said Ella Pamfilova, head of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, speaking about the upcoming presidential elections in 2024.
«It is not only for you and me that it is important how they (the presidential elections of 2024) will be held, what will be the result — in fact, for the whole world. That world, one part of which has declared us an enemy… And on the other hand, others many countries, more than 100, who are waiting to see who will win, whether Russia will stand or not,» Pamfilova said at the Territory of Meanings forum.
According to her, this is an example for these countries, «for them it is also the future: to crawl on half-bent, like vassals in front of the master of life from this Garden of Eden, which they announced. Or they will defend their national interests, their understanding of life, based on their history and traditions.
The head of the CEC noted that it is absolutely clear how important the role of the country's electoral system is. But the most important judge and examiner for the Central Election Commission is «our voter.» «For us, the level of trust is the most important indicator of what we are doing,» Pamfilova said.
Single voting day in 2023 in Russia is scheduled for September 10. Presidential elections in Russia are scheduled for the spring of 2024.
Forum «Territory of Meanings» is held for the fifth time in the management workshop «Senezh» in Solnechnogorsk. It will last until September 2nd.
