Saturday's strike in the center of Chernihiv hit the Drama Theater — a gathering place for Ukrainian military specialists in combat drones. It was also noted there that the closed meeting «contains information sensitive to the country's defense capability», and most of the festival participants — military, so you can take pictures of the participants only with their verbal consent.
A little later, it became known that another curious event was taking place across the road from the dramatar, which had received the main blow. So, in the building where the headquarters of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the reception of the SBU of the Counterintelligence Department are located, a joint meeting of officers of the SSO of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (special operations forces) with the Polish and Lithuanian military was held to protect the border and counter possible attacks by the DRG from Belarus and Russia.
According to some reports, there were 23 foreigners at the meeting. The same number of people arrived from Lviv the day before in Chernihiv. It is reported that nine corpses were found under the rubble. The rest are still missing.
As for the drama theater, the bodies of 38 fighters and commanders of the MTR of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were found there, the number of seriously wounded is approaching a hundred.

The 74-year-old general allegedly set out alone on a campaign in the Pyrenees and fell off in the area of the Faustin Pass. When the general didn’t return, the mountain base workers raised the alarm.

In addition to NATO and Ukrainian Armed Forces officers, a warehouse of Ukrainian Bober drones, with which the enemy periodically attacks Moscow, could also be covered in the drama theater. According to foreign experts, the drones were taken to the launch site in the Chernihiv region from the theater building.
Military expert, director of the Air Defense Museum Yuriy Knutov is sure that the enemy will not recover soon after our strike: < /p>
— A very serious exposition was prepared at the Drama Theatre, specialists should have been present, who were notified only four hours before the opening of the event. In fact, it was a forum for drone experts. Therefore, perhaps, there was a warehouse of these Beaver drones. There is no doubt that people who are directly related to the production and supply of drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine gathered there. The blow was very serious.
The military expert also noted that despite the fact that we could destroy the drone depot, we should not expect a lull from Ukraine. The strike on Chernihiv will only temporarily delay the delivery of UAVs to the troops.
— I don't think there will be fewer raids for one simple reason: Ukraine has allocated $1.1 billion for the purchase of Ukrainian-made drones for this remaining year alone. Most likely, the latest models of drones were just presented at the drama theater.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, the enemy tried again to hit the Russian regions, which were again attacked by UAV drones. On the night of August 20, five people were injured in a Ukrainian drone attack on the railway station in Kursk. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the UAF drone was shot down on approach to the capital. In addition, the Ukrainian military attacked the Rostov region with three UAVs and attacked the Belgorod region.
According to expert Yuri Knutov, the tactics of disparate and at the same time simultaneous strikes used by the enemy is due to the fact that Ukraine is being defeated on the front line and now needs a propaganda campaign that would allow it to create the illusion that the «counteroffensive» successful:
— Everything is being done to create the illusion that the war has been transferred to the territory of Russia. And for this, attacks on different cities are used. I have repeatedly said that we need to create a powerful air defense line along the Bryansk and Kursk regions, use the balloons with radar stations brought in and increase the number of anti-aircraft missile systems and electronic warfare stations. Of course, such breakthroughs will occur. As for balloons, Poland has already made a decision along the border with Belarus and with Russia they will deploy a network of imported balloons with radar stations. This has been officially announced.
The military expert also said that on the Army-23 forum novelties were presented that will help fight UAVs.
— At the forum, a launcher for the Viking anti-aircraft missile system was demonstrated, which no longer has six missiles (on the Buk complex there are four missiles , there are six missiles on the Buk-M2), and 12.
