The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow received five protocols on «discrediting» the army (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) against blogger Alexander Shpak. Mediazona found such information in the database of Moscow courts.
All the protocols (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) were submitted to the court today, August 21, and hearings on them have not yet been scheduled. What exactly caused the police claims against the blogger is not yet known.
Earlier, Shpak had already been fined under the article of “discrediting” the army, the Tverskoy Court ruled on August 15. Then the reason for the protocol was Shpak's post on Telegram: the blogger posted a video where footage of parades in Nazi Germany is compared with the celebration of Victory Day in Russia. The blogger commented on the video: “This is terrible. You say «we are for peace» , while you yourself give the children weapons, dressing them in military uniforms!
For the same video, on the same day, the athlete was given another fine — under the article on identifying the activities of the USSR with Nazi Germany. The amount of both fines is not specified, the court notes that the blogger was not at the meeting.
The telegram channel Sasha Shpak Official has almost 75 thousand subscribers, Shpak's Instagram has 2.6 million. On his pages, the blogger actively publishes news and criticizes the Russian authorities.
