DONETSK, 21 Aug. People's Artist of Russia, singer Grigory Leps, together with the acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, visited the Kalinin Donetsk Clinical Territorial Medical Association, where he met with wounded soldiers of the RF Armed Forces, a correspondent reports.
“We met very well. I liked the hall very much,” Leps answered the questions of journalists.
The musician also performed in the assembly hall of the institution in front of medical personnel and wounded soldiers.
The artist has repeatedly noted that it is the duty of every citizen to help the soldiers of the RF Armed Forces who are in the NMD zone.
He himself constantly maintains contact with servicemen and commanders of various units of the Armed Forces Russian Federation and, if possible, provides humanitarian assistance to residents of the DPR.
“As a rule, this is humanitarian aid related to warm uniforms, food, personal hygiene items. Unfortunately, I am not yet capable of larger expenses,” said Grigory Leps.
The artist has visited the DPR more than five times since the beginning of the CBO, Leps' assistant said.
