Solnechnogorsk, Aug 18 Russia's electoral system is strong , does not depend on the political views of the members of the commissions, because everyone is united by one global goal — work with the voter, said Ella Pamfilova, head of the CEC of the Russian Federation.
«Our system is strong, regardless of political preferences. We have a very strong community, because the main goal is to work with the voter,» Pamfilova said at the Territory of Meanings forum.
Pamfilova recalled «the gravest provocation when, during the all-Russian vote on the constitution, some pro-Western opposition parties tried to 'blow up' the system from within.»
«They literally ordered members of the commissions from their parties not to leave the commissions, but not to come to the voting days. Nothing happened,» she summed up.
Voting on amendments to the Russian Constitution took place from June 25 to July 1, 2020. 77.92% voted for the adoption of the amendments. They came into effect on July 4, 2020.
Single voting day in 2023 in Russia is scheduled for September 10. Presidential elections in Russia are scheduled for the spring of 2024.
Forum «Territory of Meanings» is held for the fifth time in the management workshop «Senezh» in Solnechnogorsk. It will last until September 2nd. The forum will bring together young professionals from various industries — from linguists and bloggers to ecologists and IT specialists.
