MOSCOW, Aug 21 Spain women's team captain Olga Carmona said that the day of victory at the World Cup was for her both the best and the worst in her life.
Spain beat England 1-0 on Sunday in the final of the World Cup held in Australia and New Zealand. On Saturday night, Carmona lost her father, but the football player found out about his death only a few hours after the match.

The women's team of Spain became the world football champion for the first time in its history. Prior to this, the best result of the national team was reaching the 1/8 finals of the tournament.
