MOSCOW, Aug. 22 Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that in a number of industries there is a shortage of personnel with record low unemployment rates in Russia, adding, that it is necessary to deal with the issue of personnel training, as well as their retraining.
“Unemployment is at a record low in the country, but there is a shortage of specialists in a number of segments. This issue requires special attention, because in the long term, with positive dynamics in the economy, this may become a new, serious challenge for us” , — said Mishustin at the Council on Strategic Development and National Projects.
According to him, timely training and retraining of personnel is necessary. «First of all, to ensure long-term demand in key sectors… It is necessary now to develop proposals for changing both the scale and structure of personnel training for the coming years in accordance with the needs of our economy,» he concluded.
