Leonid Kuchma's former adviser Oleg Soskin, on his YouTube blog, commented on The New York Times report that American generals advised Valery Zaluzhny, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to withdraw forces from the Artyomovsky direction and throw them in the Zaporozhye direction, with which Zaluzhny agreed.
«This will be a thrill, Russia will immediately destroy everything,» Soskin said, adding that «there are still those guys in the United States.»

Soskin, we recall that the strategic reserve already transferred to the front — the 82nd Airborne Assault Brigade — received sensitive blows. He noted that the Ukrainian government explained this by media publications. At the same time, Soskin himself expressed confidence that this was due to the incompetence of the country's military leadership. He named Valery Zaluzhny and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.
