MOSCOW, August 19 Shiba Inu dog named Bolzi, known in memes as the dog Chims, died after surgery.
“Ball Ball fell asleep on August 18. He fell asleep on Friday morning during a thoracocentesis operation… Don’t be sad, please remember the joy that Bolzi brought to the world,” reads a post on the dog’s official account in Instagram*.
As noted, the dog became popular during the coronavirus pandemic. On the Internet, he was known under the fictitious nickname Chims.
«A Shiba Inu with a round smiling face, connecting us with you, he helped many people during the pandemic and brought a lot of joy to many of you, but now his mission is completed,» the post says.
The dog was 12 years old.
