MOSCOW, Aug 23 American billionaire and owner of the social network X (formerly Twitter) Elon Musk congratulated India on the successful landing of the Indian space station Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon in its area south pole.
«Congratulations India,» Musk tweeted on X.
Earlier Wednesday, India successfully landed the world's first spacecraft on the moon's south pole. The Chandrayaan-3 robotic space station was launched into space on July 14 and entered lunar orbit on August 5. The Vikram descent module separated from the station on August 17 and performed two orbit-descent operations before landing. The Indian Space Research Organization also reported that the Indian lunar rover Pragyan, delivered on Wednesday to the south pole of the moon aboard the Vikram lander, left the surface of the Earth's natural satellite.
