BARNAUL, August 25 A resident of the Altai Territory, who was looking for people ready for radical activities in the interests of Ukrainian terrorists, including for setting fire to government buildings, was detained in Barnaul , she will soon appear before the court, the press service of the FSB for the region reports.
«A resident of the Altai Territory, who acted in the interests of a Ukrainian terrorist organization, will appear before the court. The investigation department of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Altai Territory has completed the investigation of a criminal case against a resident of Barnaul,» the report says.
It is noted that the case was initiated under Article 275.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia (cooperation on a confidential basis with a foreign state, international or foreign organization).
«At the end of 2022, a woman made contact with a representative of the Legion 'Freedom of Russia' terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation* and agreed to his proposal to commit destructive actions in the Altai Territory. Subsequently, at the direction of the «curator», she began to look for residents of the region who were ready for radical activities, including arson of government buildings,» the press service adds.
However, the woman's actions were stopped. In March 2023, she was detained by the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Altai Territory.It is noted that the woman pleaded guilty, the case was taken to court.
