The Ukrainian authorities are not going to negotiate with Gazprom to extend the agreement on the transit of Russian gas through its territory after 2024, but are open to discuss this topic with its buyers in Europe. This announcement was made on Friday. August 25, Ukrainian Ambassador to Chisinau Marko Shevchenko.

In an interview with the Voice of Bessarabia portal, the diplomat said that «we are at war and have severed diplomatic relations with Moscow,» so there can be no negotiations on gas transit with the Russian Federation.
