MOSCOW, August 24 The price of AI-95 gasoline on the St. Petersburg International Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (SPIMEX) again updated the price record on Thursday trading , having exceeded 71 thousand rubles per ton, while diesel fuel has fallen in price, according to auction data.
The brand of AI-95 gasoline according to the territorial index of the European part of Russia for the trading day rose by 1.11%, to 71,746 rubles per ton. The price of AI-92 gasoline fell by 0.42% to 62,432 rubles per ton.

The cost of summer diesel fuel decreased by 0.56% to 66,026 rubles per ton. Earlier in August, its price broke historical records 12 times, and the cost grew to a maximum of 67,848 rubles per ton.
The cost of fuel oil for Thursday rose by 1.66% to 33,121 rubles per ton. Liquefied hydrocarbon gases (LHGs) fell in price by 1.69%, to 28,522 rubles. Aviation kerosene rose in price by 0.56% to 68,183 rubles per ton.
In the summer, stock prices for fuel have updated records: at the beginning of its maximum value reached the cost of gasoline, and at the end — diesel fuel. The increase in the price of gasoline was explained by experts by seasonal repair work at refineries and «gray» exports. Later, the growth rate and retail prices significantly accelerated. At the same time, at the end of the summer, a number of southern regions of the Russian Federation complained about rising prices and interruptions in fuel supplies.
