In Kamchatka, police officers are checking a member of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on whose site they found almost 1,700 cannabis bushes. This is reported by «Kamchatka-inform» with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies and the telegram channel Mash.
According to the news agency, the plantation was found in the village of Zeleny, Elizovsky district, Kamchatka Territory. In total, the security forces counted 1686 cannabis bushes, Mash writes about 1650 copies.
According to the telegram channel, the owner of the site is Bogdan K. — he is the head of the Paratunka fire and rescue unit of the Ministry of Emergencies and the captain of the internal service. As the man himself explained to the security forces, he grew hemp for personal use.
Now the police are conducting an investigation under the article on the illegal cultivation of plants containing narcotic substances (Article 231 of the Criminal Code). In the near future, the materials will be handed over to the Investigative Committee to resolve the issue of initiating a criminal case.
