MOSCOW, Aug 28 Deputy Head of the Special Communications Department SBU Colonel Dmitry Bakaev committed suicide at his workplace in Kiev, Strana.ua writes, citing law enforcement sources.

The publication clarified that the incident occurred last Saturday. According to one of the interlocutors, a suicide note in the form of a report was found in the office next to the body of the colonel, addressed to the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasily Maliuk. In it, Bakaev asked that the leadership be blamed for his death for a biased attitude and constant humiliation of honor and dignity.
Ukrainian media published a photo of Bakaev's statement dated 15 August. Now investigators are looking into the motives for the suicide and have already interrogated several members of the security service.
