MOSCOW, August 27 Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR, choreographer of theater and cinema, GITIS professor Lilia Talankina has died at the age of 91, according to the telegram channel of the institute.
«Professor of GITIS Lilia Talankina has died. The chief choreographer of the Moscow State Academic Chamber Musical Theater named after B.A. Pokrovsky, Talankina staged about forty performances. She was an Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR. She collaborated with various theaters in Russia and abroad as choreographer, worked in the cinema,» the statement said.
The Institute clarified that Talankina's funeral will take place on Monday at 13:00 in the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
GITIS also expressed condolences to Talankina's family and friends.
