St. Petersburg, 28 Aug. The driver of a green Porsche who knocked down a pedestrian on the sidewalk in the city of Murino in the Leningrad Region was detained, the press service of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and the region reported.
«As a result of a complex of operational-search measures, the identity of the offender was established. It turned out to be a 20-year-old local resident who was detained and interrogated as a suspect,» the press service reports.
Earlier, the police received a message that a green car knocked down a pedestrian and disappeared near the house 8 building 1 on Ekaterininskaya Street in Murino. The police launched a search for the driver.
According to the video circulated on social networks, a traffic jam formed on a narrow street from several cars that could not pass. The driver of the green Porsche pulled onto the sidewalk to get past the traffic jam, but a young man stood in his way. The driver, despite the obstacle, continued to move, and the pedestrian flew into the bushes.
It is noted that the criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism).
