
MOSCOW, August 29 Muscovites will be able to see an unusual natural phenomenon — the «blue moon» this week, Tatiana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Moscow Meteorological Bureau, said on her Telegram channel.
According to her, the second supermoon for August can be observed on the night of Thursday. As Pozdnyakova noted, the Moon will approach the Earth by less than 362,000 kilometers.
The weatherman emphasized that the weather in the capital the region will be influenced by the periphery of the anticyclone, thanks to the variable cloudiness, it will be possible to see the Moon. According to her, the maximum size of the natural satellite of the Earth will reach at 4.35 Moscow time.
Pozdnyakova noted that the «blue moon» is the brightest and very rare full moon. The next time the moon will be so close to the earth only in 14 years.
