MOSCOW, August 29 The criminal case against the family of bloggers Valeria and Artem Chekalin has been transferred to the central office of the Investigative Committee, a law enforcement source said.
«The criminal case filed against the Chekalins has been transferred to the Main Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee,» the agency's interlocutor said.
Two criminal cases have been filed against Chekalina and her husband. The first concerns tax evasion of 311 million rubles due to the misuse of the simplified taxation system, the second concerns money laundering on an especially large scale.
