MOSCOW, August 31 A large investor will build a road along the Arabat Spit, the cost will be calculated based on the technological capabilities of the construction company, Acting Governor of Kherson Region Vladimir Saldo said.
According to him, the need for such a road is very large, including in the context of tourism development.
«Construction is already underway, a large investment company, which, within the framework of the 105th FKZ, proposes to conduct it absolutely without budgetary funds, on the basis of concession agreements. Therefore, the volume and cost of construction will no longer depend on those money that the budget will provide, but on the technological opportunities offered by the construction investment company,» said Saldo.
According to him, such interest on the part of investors suggests that peaceful life in the Kherson region «is not far off.»
Earlier, during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Saldo asked to support the proposal to build a road along the Arabat Spit. The length of the road will be about 130 kilometers.
