An Israeli expert, ex-head of the Nativ intelligence agency, Yakov Kedmi, said that almost all types of NATO equipment that are presented in the Ukrainian theater of operations proved to be much worse than supposed, including tanks. At the same time, he called the weapons transferred by the West to Kiev, which are superior in characteristics to the Russian ones.
«This is NATO 155-mm artillery with 52-caliber barrels,» Kedmi said, adding that this must be recognized.< /p>
He explained that compared to Russian howitzers, these guns have greater range and better accuracy.
At the same time, according to the Voennoye delo portal, Kedmi noticed that in the Russian self-propelled artillery mount “Coalition-SV”, which has the best qualities, does not participate in battles. The expert found it difficult to answer the question why.
Kedmi noted that the Russian military had to compensate for the shortcomings of artillery with the actions of aviation and drones, and thus the destruction of NATO artillery.
He suggested that if the self-propelled guns «Coalition-SV» nevertheless arrive at the front in sufficient quantities, then the advantage of NATO artillery on the Ukrainian front will be completely leveled.
