MOSCOW, August 29 Lenkom Mark Zakharov's tour in Israel with the play «Memorial Prayer» is postponed due to threats coming to the theater, theater director Mark Varshaver said. They were planned from October 29 on the stage of the theater «Habima».

«The fact is that a bunch of hooligans, led by actor Anatoly Bely, who is well known in Russia, are threatening and are going to prevent Lenkom from touring. We don't need problems. As the head of the theater, the health of my artists and employees is much more important to me — and we had to go there with a large team of a hundred people — than touring. I can't afford to take risks, and I won't. Therefore, we informed the management of the Habima Theater about our decision to postpone the tour until better times, when it will be possible to come without any fear. It’s only a pity for the audience, which has already purchased tickets, and they were sold out in Tel Aviv in a few days,” Warsawer said.
He added that the theater had no problems with tours. In November, «Lenkom» will go to St. Petersburg, where on the stage of the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Theater will present several performances, including the premiere of last season «Running» by Bulgakov.
