MOSCOW, August 30 In order to limit «gray exports», the Russian government will approve a list of special exporters of oil products from Russia in the near future, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.
«A list of special exporters will be adopted to limit the» gray «export. Literally in the near future,» he told reporters.
Last week, Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov said that the Ministry of Energy had submitted proposals to the government on the criteria for forming a list of exporters of petroleum products, however, he noted that two options were still being discussed to prevent gray exports: creating a list of exporters or licensing exports.
According to Novak, now the government «goes along both options», but the fastest solution is to adopt a list of special exporters. «Therefore, at the first stage we are going this way,» the Deputy Prime Minister added.
This summer, stock prices for fuel in Russia are breaking new records. Among other things, the rise in gasoline prices was explained by experts as «grey» exports. Significantly accelerated the growth rate and retail prices. At the same time, at the end of the summer, a number of southern regions of the Russian Federation complained about rising prices and interruptions in fuel supplies.
