MOSCOW, Aug 31 Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that he had discussed with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin to supply Turkey with one million tons of Russian grain at a reduced price for further processing, this issue is also being discussed with Qatar.
«We discussed the initiative of the Russian President on organization of deliveries of Russian grain up to a million tons to Turkey at a reduced price for further processing at Turkish enterprises and shipment to the most needy countries of the world. This issue is also being discussed with the participation of our friends from Qatar, who are ready to participate in the financial aspects of this initiative,» he said. Lavrov during a press conference on the results of negotiations with Fidan.
