The Presnensky District Court of Moscow registered an administrative case against journalist Matvey Ganapolsky. Mediazona drew attention to the update in the database of courts.
According to the file of the case, Ganapolsky is accused of distributing materials without marking a “foreign agent” (part 4 of article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). What was the reason for drawing up the protocol is unknown.
The Ministry of Justice declared Matvey Ganapolsky a “foreign agent” in early April 2022. According to the department, he received «foreign funding» from Ukraine. The journalist has been living in this country since 2014 and has worked for several Ukrainian TV channels and radio stations, including ATR, Pryamiy, TSN, NewsOne and others.
