WASHINGTON, Sep 2 Almost 60% of Republicans ready to support Donald Trump in the primaries that will determine who the party will run for President of the United States in 2024, according to a Wall Street Journal poll.
Former President Leads Poll With 59% Of Votes, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Is Second With 13%. In third place is former US Representative to the UN Nikki Haley with 8%. Businessman Vivek Ramaswami, who took fourth place, wants to see 5% of the participants in the republican primaries as their candidate.
Trump's support rose and DeSantis fell 11 percentage points from a Wall Street Journal poll in April.
The poll, conducted August 24-30, involved 600 Republicans who will vote in the primaries.
