MOSCOW, 31 Aug. Another woman has filed a rape lawsuit against Nick Carter, the lead singer of the American band Backstreet Boys, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The publication specifies that she became the third victim to accuse the singer of sexual assault.
In a ten-page statement of claim, which came into the possession of the newspaper, the plaintiff (introduced as AR) accused the musician of rape and «repeated inducement to intimacy.» According to the victim, this happened in 2003, when she was 15 years old.

Earlier, two more women accused the singer of sexual violence. In 2017, singer Melissa Schumann did this, saying that a member of the Backstreet Boys raped her in 2022. The prosecutor's office then refused to bring charges against the pop star.
This spring, Schumann filed her lawsuit again. A decision on it has not yet been made.
